Personal Life
From the age of ten, I always knew that I wanted to publish books. Ever since I discovered the horror genre in literature and film, I knew that I had to contribute to it. I immediately began writing my own stories and creating the illustrations to go along with them. The idea for The Vanishing of Toby Gray formed in my head when I was in Year 8 at school, and I started to write about the story of a young boy who felt lost in the world - a feeling that resonated with a lot of teenagers, including myself at the time. This story has been written over and over again, changed and polished for ten years, until I was happy with it. This story is now known as the Vanishing of Toby Gray.
